Meet the Guide

As an experienced educator with over 25 years of teaching, I founded Endeavor Academy in 2019 with a mission to empower learners. With a wide range of experience in teaching students from preschool to college age, I believe that children are naturally curious and motivated to learn when provided with the right environment and encouragement. At Endeavor Academy, we strive to create a safe and supportive atmosphere where students can work at their own level and pace, and where mistakes are seen as valuable opportunities for growth and learning.

Our limited class size ensures that each student receives the individual attention they need to thrive and achieve their learning goals. We welcome students of all ability levels, and our inclusive approach fosters a sense of community and belonging. Located in north Mesa, our academy is conveniently accessible off the 202 near Gilbert Road.

Daily Schedule

Our typical day consists of four parts: Unite, Conquer, Collaborate, and Innovate.

We begin each day with Unite. This is our time to come together and build our community. We work on team building, growth mindset, problem solving, and learning social/emotional skills that will enable us to create a strong family.

During Conquer, students complete their individual goals core subjects: math, language arts and writing. Multiple programs are available in each area to assure that students have the best opportunity to master content and grow in each subject. Students are also encouraged to expand their knowledge in geography, foreign language and computer skills during this time.

Break! Phew...all of that hard work deserves some well earned social time. During break students can eat a snack, play games or just hang out with their friends.

Following break time, we move into Collaborate. Here we work together to learn science, history, art, music, debate and geography. Students select the topics for each subject area and are given the opportunity to demonstrate their learning in a variety of ways.

Finally, we have Innovate, our project based learning time. Students are given the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills by working over an extended period of time to investigate and respond to an authentic, engaging and complex question, problem or challenge. They create their own projects and can work individually or in small groups. Some examples of projects chosen by students include: creating an educational computer game; building an art portfolio; learning photography; building a drone; re-enacting war battles with stop motion photography; and many, many more!

As a part of our learning adventure we include field trips and community service projects throughout the year. These offer students the opportunity to practice teamwork, effective communication, and to develop compassion.

At Endeavor Academy we strive to make learning fun. We believe that helping children to develop a love of learning will assure that they will always be able to accomplish their life's goals and to overcome any challenge they may be faced with in the future.
